Hi! My name is Sue Roberts and I've been invited by Greg to be a guest on his web site. I was visiting with Greg and his wife about a week ago, and I started talking about my job and my life, and in particular, my reminiscing about my friendship with Ray Nitschke, and Greg decided it would be a good idea to share my thoughts with his readers.
I first met Greg approximately 14 years ago. He was a good friend of my sister's. We went to a housewarming party that he was having in Wausau at that time. I later met and became friends with Julie, who became Greg's wife 10 years ago. I am proud to say I was an attendant at their wedding. It's always wonderful to see a marriage hold together over the years.
I'm not a writer, but I suppose you could consider me somewhat of a story-teller, although all my stories are actually true. I have been blessed with a very exciting and full life, and I love sharing my journeys with my friends.
And finally, I'd like to add that I'll be attending college this fall. Mind you, I'll be 40 then and just starting college for the first time. I'm going to explore communications. I never realized I liked to write, but because Ray Nitschke asked me to write a couple of speeches for him, I learned that I loved it! And it was Ray Nitschke approval -- I can't imagine a better endorsement. So thanks, Ray, for the inspiration. Save a spot for me in heaven's bleachers.
