About "Thoughts For The Week Ending:"

At the end of 1996, when I was putting together my home page, I began to enjoy writing. Knowing that I needed a lot of practice, I decided to write a weekly article for my home page to both hone -- or maybe just grind to an edge -- my writing skills, and inform friends and family of significant events in my life.

Some stories are more serious than others, and many are not as well-thought-out as they ought to have been. Still others, I try to be light. But when I look back at this series as a whole over the course of time, what I want to see is growth. For this reason, I will not fix errors in fact or grammar once posted. If informed of errors I will append a notice at the end of the page in question.

I try to finish and post my "Thoughts" by 6 o'clock each Sunday evening but if I am busy with other things, or out-of- town for the weekend, it may be a day or two late.

Topics may include almost anything (appropriately filtered for an internet audience, of course). Whatever I feel like writing about each week. If something in my life changes, or I find something interesting on the web, or just need to vent, this is my space to tell my story. It is my soapbox, my pulpit, and it is my outlet.
